Emma’s Dream Workshop

Revolutionizing storytelling + social emotional learning

Seven weeks of fun with the impact of a lifetime.

Stimulate self-awareness and motivation in children about their passions and dreams before they turn 7.

What is it solving?

Leading a life lacking direction, fulfillment, and genuine satisfaction doesn’t benefit society.

Emma’s Dream workshop is a tool of Social Emotional Learning that helps kids understand their emotions, identify their talents and what they need to achieve their dreams no matter the circumstances.

Emma is a safe space for kids to express themselves to develop essential social-emotional skills.

Through play and storytelling; we help children gain confidence in their ambitions at an early age.

Age group: 6 to 10 years old

Students who were able to identify their strengths and interests were more likely to have higher GPAs and be more engaged in school.

What is our youth’s biggest enemy?

Societal expectations can derail our sense of identity. When we forget about our natural curiosity we can feel lost and confused.

We had Ana Karina visiting our school and introducing her inspiring story ‘Emma’s Dream’. Children in year 3 were able to empathize with the character (which can be very tricky to teach explicitly) and this was evident in the children’s emotions - some got teary! It was a very touching story that provided children the message of persevering in life and that anything is possible to achieve once you put your mind to it!

The children loved Ana’s expression whilst reading the story and it was powerful to see how her story sent out a strong message of following your dreams!

The children were excited when they met Anna, so engaged and motivated - and they are looking forward to buying a copy and sharing it at home with their families!

We will definitely be adding Emma’s Dream to our key texts for our Spanish Curriculum!

“Ana combines a wacky sense of humor with imaginative storylines to create fun-loving stories. It was enjoyable to listen to her read her stories aloud, but it was even better to see the reactions of the kids, all deeply engaged and fascinated. She really captured their imagination.”
